I don't know if I told you, but John and I joined a beach volleyball league. Our upstairs neighbors, Mike and Lisa, play and asked us to join their team. They play Wednesday evenings at Horseshoe Bay Beach and it's more social than competitive (we're in the C league). Last night was our first game of the season and it was loads of fun. John and I both realized we haven't played volleyball in 16 years and our debut definitely showed that, but the team was patient and we got better as the night went on. What a great excuse to spend the evening on the beach, meeting all sorts of people and enjoying the view!
Let's hope our skills improve over the season so we're invited back next year!!
