This past weekend was a busy one for John and I. So busy, I didn't take a single picture (or was it that I kept forgetting the camera???)!
Friday night, we went out to dinner with our neighbors, Mike and Lisa, at the Lighthouse. It was a bit of a treat because they had their outdoor seating set up, so we were able to enjoy the fresh air and the amazing view!
Saturday, we spent the day on the water with Pat and Cynthia and some of their friends. The weather was a little shaky at first, but it turned out to be a great day with lots of laughs. Being on the water is such a wonderful thing down here....dropping anchor, swimming in the harbor, tying up with some friends - can't be beat. It's one of the pleasures of living in Bermuda and we plan on taking full advantage of it in the years to come!
Sunday morning we played 18 holes of golf - I have to tell you, my game has taken a turn for the worse, while John's continues to get better each time we play. Luckily for me, Mary and John gave me lessons at Chelsea Piers for Christmas. I am going to schedule that for when we are back in NY and hopefully, my game will start going in the other direction!!!
We spent the rest of Sunday with the Jordan's - on the beach at the princess in the afternoon and at our house for dinner that evening. Excell was all smiles in the water - I don't know that have ever seen him so happy - it was wonderful!
All and all, it was a wonderful, busy weekend!
