So lame, I forgot my camera

On Friday, my mom came into the city to help me get the apartment ready for the movers....the poor movers who are going to see my breakfast bar covered in spices, my 5 sets of dishes, my endless supply of wine glasses, cocktail glasses and little bowls, my paintings, pictures, furniture and think, MAN, I thought this was a studio job!  Who the heck knew one could fit this much stuff in 550 square feet?!

We spent the morning tagging items with stay/go tags, itemizing everything for customs, trying to separate so when the movers come, they don't completely flip out or take days to pack!  That afternoon, we had lunch at a cute little pizza place in the neighborhood called Vezzo and then headed to the spice store and Blue Smoke (must get bbq sauce and magic dust in anticipation of the grill!!!!!) to pick up some items.

I loved having the help, but more so, the company!  It was great to spend the time with mom before we took off in opposite directions for the winter.

That evening, dad and Jenny met us and we headed out for dinner at Crispo, an Italian place we had been to before.  Although we missed John and Jared, it was nice to catch up, the original four, like old times.  After dinner, Jenny and I met Meredith and Brooke for a glass of wine and good old girl talk.

I am so blessed to have a wonderful family and wonderful friends!  I love spending time with each and every one of you!!!
