Last night was John's last night in New York - not forever, but for some time. It was a bit of a coincidence and a bit planned that we had made play reservations for last night. John had wanted to see the play Lombardi and it seemed like the right time, so, we went to see the play and hear the story of the famous Vince Lombardi.

After the play, we went to the Gramercy Tavern for dinner. My aunt and uncle had given us a gift certificate for Christmas to John's favorite.....the Union Square restaurant group.....Danny Meyer's wonderful restaurants. We had only been to the Gramercy Tavern once before and had a wonderful meal, so we thought it would be the perfect send off. As usual, the entire experience was fabulous....if you're ever in the city and have a reason to celebrate....give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
Thank you Mary and John! It was absolutely wonderful and the perfect way to spend John's last night in New York!
