John and I both had off Monday, so we planned on staying in Allenhurst Sunday and spending the extra time with my parents. Little did we know that would turn into a few days and lots of shoveling!!! On Sunday morning it started to snow (mom and I did manage to get out to our favorite post Christmas sale at Robert Legere in Asbury before it was too bad :-) and it continued to snow all day and night. The winds were so bad that, with the snow drifts, it looked like we got 3 or 4 feet of snow! It didn't help that the plows in town broke down...... We spent the days watching football, movies, playing scrabble and trying to find anything in the house to make for dinner! It was fun spending the extra time with mom and dad!
