It's official! John and I are leaving New York City and moving to Bermuda! It's been a bit of an emotional week. His temporary visa was not supposed to come until next friday at the earliest, so we were a both shocked when John got the call on Tuesday saying it was in and he was good to go. We both gave our current employers notice on Thursday and John's moving date is January 19th. I know! So soon!!! I will be going back and forth between New York and Bermuda a bit in the beginning, because there is a LOT to do in order to move to a different country, but will be down permanently in February. Below is a picture that we took on a previous trip to the island. It's just a beautiful place ----- we are going to be living in paradise!
The next week and a half are going to be filled with lots of time with friends and family and checking things off John's "bucket list" of places to hit in NYC before he goes. I'll try to update as we go along!
When this opportunity was first presented to John, we both figured it would be an adventure if it worked out, so here we are, 5 months later at the beginning of our next crazy adventure! I hope you will all come along for the ride!
