As you can imagine, this weekend was filled with shopping and packing - getting ready for the big move! Thursday, I had to go to NJ to wait for a furniture delivery....the chairs we ordered from ABC Home finally came and I love them! They came on the earlier side of the time frame, so I grabbed my mom and we immediately went out to continue shopping. Thanks to her help, I found a bed and dresser for our bedroom.....I'm getting there!! Thursday night, I went to Meredith's and spent some girl time with Mer and Brooke. It was great fun, as always, and Mer made a delicious dinner - spinach quiche and salad.
Friday, it was back down to the shore (after work and a stop at the passport office to change my name) for dinner with Mary and John. I LOVE my mom's paella and no matter how much I try, I can not replicate it, so...mom made paella and Mary and John came over and Jenny came down. It was a wonderful night - I'm going to miss these family gatherings.

Saturday morning, mom, Jenny and I went off for a full day of shopping.....Costco, Bed Bath and Beyond, one furniture store after the next. It was a very productive, exhausting day! Jenny headed back to Hoboken and mom, dad and I went to dinner at a new restaurant in Asbury Park. I love everything that is happening in Asbury Park - new restaurants popping up even in the winter! This one was amazing.......it's called Fish and we loved it!

Sunday morning was filled with packing. Boxes! Tape! Lists! Oh boy! It was an exhausting morning and my mom was a HUGE help! I really don't know what I would have done without her.
