Quiet Weekend

After all of our visitors, John and I had a quiet weekend together, just what we needed!  We rented movies (that's right, no netflix here - you actually have to go into the movie rental place - brings back such nice memories of that place on Memorial Drive in Asbury Park that we used to frequent as kids!) on Friday and stayed in for a low key night.

Saturday morning, we went to the Southampton Princess to play golf with Steve and Emma.  It was nice to catch up with them - it had been a while since they were traveling and we had visitors.  We were going to head to the beach when we finished, but we got some much needed rain, so we had a lovely lunch with the Horton's and then went home for more movies.

On the movie front, we watched a few, but only one that really moved John and I.  The movie was Conviction, starring Hilary Swank.  It's about a man (her brother) who is wrongfully convicted of murder and her fight to prove his innocence and get him freed.  It is based on a true story and moved us to no end.  When the movie was over, we both looked at each other and decided that we just found a new charity to support - The Innocence Project.

Sorry I don't have any pictures!  Figured you've seen enough pictures of the views from the golf course!
