This weekend was low key. We went to the beach Saturday afternoon and it was hot - I'm a little scared for August! That evening we took the Vespa into town and went to one of my new happy places - a true Japanese sushi bar! Nothing fancy, just delicious fish. On our way home, we stopped for some soft serve - it was the perfect date night!
Sunday we were back on the golf course and we both had a really good day! I had my first par, which I was VERY excited about and John played extremely well all day. It made for a fun round of golf, despite the 10th hole rain shower! Afterwards, we went to the "19th hole" also known as the Swizzle Inn for a drink. I had a rum swizzle, which is basically fruit juice with a kick (punch in the head if you had more than one!) and John a dark n' stormy. It was a lovely way to end our day.
Although we weren't in Allenhurst for the first time in many years, we had a nice weekend together enjoying beautiful Bermuda! I know - way too many pictures, but I'm trying to lure you all to the island for a visit!

Hi friend, your weekend looked amazing. You really do live in such an amazing place!! I am pretty jealous of all the golfing that you are doing - my big tummy is not ideal for a good golf swing :) By the way, thanks for the sweet message on my blog!!
ReplyDeleteP.S. The color that we decided on is Water Lilly Bloom - which is a light pink (very girly). Hopefully we get paint on the walls this weekend and I will definitely take pictures.
