Bermuda Day

May 24th is Bermuda Day - I'm not so sure what that means, except John has the day off from work :-)

Monday evening, we went down to the Waterlot to watch the sunset.  It was a beautiful night and the setting was so peaceful!  They even had someone playing the bagpipes!

Love the chairs!!
And the view of the harbor
AHHHHH!!!

Tuesday morning, we were off to the Princess for some golf, just the two of us.  It was the perfect morning together.
I was trying to get the ocean in front of the cart.....didn't really work!

That's right - a Gilman is actually golfing and enjoying it!  Shocking, I know!
We were planning on beaching it after golf, but the weather was a bit iffy with sprinkles of rain showers, so we decided to head out to Dockyard for lunch.  John had never been, so we figured we'd check it off the list.  There is currently an enormous cruise ship docked out there....look at it, its unreal!!!

We had some lunch at the Frog and Onion and then headed back home.  Dockyard is filled with shops for tourists, not to mention the tourists themselves!  The day finished with some movies and dinner at home.  Not a bad way to spend a random Tuesday!  Thanks Bermuda Day!
