Easter Weekend

This past weekend was fun-filled and pack with visitors - a big treat for John and I!

Brooke and Laurel got in on Thursday afternoon.  We spent the later part of the day on the beach and then went for a low key dinner at Henry's for Brooke's birthday.  It was so nice to be able to celebrate with Brookie!!!

Friday morning was spent on the beach at the Reefs, where Brooke and Laurel were staying.  It's a beautiful location, built into the side of a cliff, so the beach has sweeping views!

Then it was off to the airport to pick up Jenny and Jared.  We spent the afternoon catching up and then met Brooke and Laurel for drinks before we headed to dinner at Rustico.  Dinner was great, the company even better!!!  Oh, and it was also John's first wearing of his brand new Bermuda shorts!

Saturday morning, John and Jared went off to play a very LONG round of golf at Port Royal.  They actually were paired up with our neighbor David and his father-in-law (can you say small island??), which made for a fun round, even though the wind was whipping and the sand traps were plenty.  Look at these views.....regardless of how you play, you have to be smiling!!  Also, I need to give John a big shout out for actually taking pictures!

While the guys were golfing, Jenny and I went to Windy Bank so she could see my local farm and then for a nice long walk.  By the time we were finished, it was time to pick the guys up.  Time really does fly!  Dinner that evening was at Latin in Hamilton, also one of our favorites.  Everyone was beat, so it was an early night!

Sunday morning, the Easter bunny came!!!!!!!  After a round of golf at the Princess, John and Jared went on an egg hunt, thanks to Jenny!  I went on mine earlier that morning :-)

Then it was a quick scooter ride, off to breakfast at the Lighthouse and back to the airport!

It was a very quick trip, but so nice to see Jenny and Jared!  Luckily we will see them again on Saturday!!!!!

On our way back from the airport, we made a quick top at the Jordan's.  The kids had an Easter egg hunt in their development.  It was so cute to watch....they are just adorable and their baskets were the coolest!

All done and man, that was tough!

After a quick visit, it was back to the Reefs to see Brooke.  The views from here really are spectacular!!

One more scooter ride up to the house for drinks.....and then it was Easter dinner at the Reefs with Brooke and Laurel.  It was a lovely evening and the perfect ending to our Easter!
