John and I had a fun night planned on Friday. We were going to a wine tasting - 25 California reds - and then to dinner with friends. We were trying to figure out how to get me into Hamilton and leave the car at the house, since drinking and driving is not on our list of things to do! The solution......take the bike. John came and picked me up on the Vespa and we zipped back into town - me on the back. It was the first time he rode with a passenger and it was great fun! What a way to see the island!
The wine tasting was fun, they had a huge turnout and we ran into some people we know, so it was great chatting. The building its in, Goslings wine store, has recently been renovated and the space is beautiful! Afterwards, we went to dinner at Harborfront with DJ and Antoinette - some tasty sushi to end the evening!

Oh - and for all of you who are wondering, the Vespa is still parked in Hamilton at John's work and we took a taxi home :-) We DO NOT drink and scoot!
