Bermuda International Film Festival - Trust

This week is the end of the Bermuda International Film Festival, since we are in low key mode after our busy weekend, we decided to get tickets to two movies.  So, last night, I went into town, met John, had dinner and then went to see Trust.  This was the MOST DISTURBING movie I have ever seen in my life!!!!!!!!  It was about a family - the 14 year old daughter met a guy on the internet, the guy turns out to be 35, she ends up being raped and the movie is about how that effects her and the family.  John and I were discussing it and can not figure out why they would make a movie like that - I guess maybe to make parents aware of what their children are doing online, but I'm not even sure that was the point.  We all know there are despicable people out there doing horrific things, but watching it on screen was something I wish I had avoided.  Let's hope the movie on Thursday is a bit less disturbing!
