So you know why I have not been blogging....I can't seem to locate my camera battery charger.
We have fully decorated for Christmas, it's like a winter wonderland in here, but my camera is dead and charger is missing so I have not been able to share our Christmas spirit with you all. My goal is to work on getting a new charger this weekend so I can update the blog on Sunday. Also, our container arrived this week with the remaining baby items on it, so I will photograph the nursery and post that too.
Last weekend was a fun one. John and I decorated cookies on Friday night - he is a trooper, most guys probably would have moaned and groaned at the idea, but not John. He gladly made those silly santa cutouts look like a real santa - red hat, white beard and jolly as ever! Have I mentioned how lucky I am to have such a wonderful husband?
Saturday I went to Joy's for a cookie exchange party, which was lovely. It was nice catching up with girls, some of whom I haven't seen since the summer.
That afternoon, we had a tour of the maternity ward. It was good to see where this baby is going to be delivered and to meet some of the nurses/midwives, but I came to the realization that I actually have to deliver this little one. Holy cow!
Saturday evening, we had the Jordan's and LaHuta's here for dinner, so it was a packed day!
Sunday we enjoyed one of our last truly lazy weekends - we had a Homeland marathon (i'm officially addicted to the show and am dying for season 2 to be available for purchase) and just enjoyed doing nothing.
I don't even know where the time went this week and can't believe it's Friday again! Enjoy the weekend and hopefully I'll be back with photos next week.
