2012 in Review

This past year was filled with lots of excitement and lots of travel.  We celebrated so many happy occasions and were lucky to be there to celebrate with our friends and family for most of them.  I'm going to try and do a brief recap and hit the highlights, but there were so many, it may be a bit lengthy!

Our year started out in Napa Valley with Katie and Ron followed by a few days in San Francisco

In January, my parents also came down for a visit

February brought us back to California to visit Katie and Jenny (along with a work trip which took us to San Diego and San Francisco)

Tara came out to California as well and hung out with me while John worked in San Diego

In March, we took a trip to Paris

and then on to London.

Jenny also came for a visit in March, but I don't seem to have any pictures.....hmmm.....

John's brother Peter and his family came to visit in the beginning of April for Easter

Meredith and Brooke also came for a visit in April

Then it was on to California for Tara's San Diego bridal showers

The beginning of May I was in New Jersey for Meredith's bridal shower

AND Jenny's baby shower

Before flying to Vegas to celebrate Tara's bachelorette party!

Our friends Mark and Morgan came to visit Memorial Day Weekend - the same weekend I found out I was pregnant

June started with the birth of my little niece Nora Madeline 

I spent a week with Jenny and Nora in NJ with the exception of a night out for Mer's NYC bachelorette party 

The end of June was a celebration of Tara and John's wedding in Boulder, CO 

July brought more celebrations with Meredith and Dave's wedding in NYC 

We had a visit from our friends DJ and Antoinette in July, but for some reason, I don't have any pictures.....

In August, our friends Katie and Ron came to visit with their girls, Abigail and Paige

In September, we found out we were having a little baby BOY!

September we went to Ireland with our friends Mark and Morgan

And then on to Sandwich and London where John worked and I explored

October we had lots of visits from my family, Jenny, Jared and Nora came down, followed by my dad and then my mom.  Again, my pictures are lacking, but it was a lovely month for me to spend with the Gilman's

Tara and John came to visit at the end of October...

....the boys had the best time fishing!

Then in November, it was back to NJ to celebrate my baby shower.....in the dark

Meredith came for a visit in November and helped us assemble the crib

and stocked my freezer with lemon squares

Then it was back to NJ for Thanksgiving

And Nora's christening.

I don't have a picture, but I can't leave out that our dear friends Brooke and Drew got engaged in December this year, another wonderful thing to celebrate!!

December we were island bound with a visit from Jenny, Jared and Nora

followed by a visit from my parents to end the year

Wow, we had a busy year!  We are so lucky that we were able to do all of that traveling and have all of those visitors.  We hope 2013 will be filled with as much joy and happiness as 2012 was - and it seems with the birth of Baby Mohs just weeks away, we'll be starting out the year right!
