What I'm thankful for, part two

We have a lot to be thankful for this year!  2011 has proved to be one of the best years for our family.....a year of justice, a year of new beginnings and new life!  We are lucky to have each other to lean on in tough times and celebrate with in happy times.  Thanksgiving is one of those times to really reflect on all we have and to realize how lucky we are.

John and I were in New Jersey for a week for Thanksgiving.  We spent a lot of time running errands, helping to prepare Thanksgiving dinner, seeing movies and spending time with family and friends.  Not a bad way to spend a week!

Mom's meyer lemon - it took years to grow and was soooo tasty!
Dinner on Thanksgiving Eve at Mr C's - we missed those who couldn't make it this year.  It really is a nice tradition!
Wednesday night after dinner, we went to see Matt Filler play at a local bar in Asbury Park.  Matt truly is amazing, he has followed his dream and love of music since he was a little boy and is wonderful to listen to.  And his stage presence is that of a star!!
Mom's beautiful table!

And lovely fall flowers
We really did laugh - since the turkey wasn't completely dried out, it wasn't as easy to break down.  Mom really did a good job hacking away with the clever!
