If you have been to visit us in Bermuda or if you have paid attention to the pictures on this blog, you know that the ocean surrounding Bermuda is usually as calm as can be. That is not the case today (nor was it yesterday) and probably won't be until Katia gets far far away from our little island. The storm at it's closest is supposed to be 200+ miles off the shores of Bermuda, but by looking out at the south shore, you'd think she was much closer. Let's hope our beaches and that wonderful sea life we just discovered are still there once Katia is done wreaking havoc!
