The beginning of a great weekend.....

Friday, John and I went and purchased helmets for when we drive the scooters.  The woman at the bike shop was so helpful!  We bought a black one for me and a white one for John....don't worry, we'll make sure to go back and get a pink visitors helmet, they just happened to be out of stock yesterday :-)

I spent the afternoon with Karl's wife, Marta.  We did a bit of shopping in Hamilton and then went for a manicure and pedicure.  It was a great way to start the weekend!

Before meeting Karl, Marta and crew for dinner, John and I stopped at Rumbar for our first Dark n' Stormy since being on the island.  Rumbar was a cute little place, friendly bartenders and a menu that looked good for small bites.  We'll definitely go back!

Saturday morning, John and I decided to rent sccoters and start to practice so we can pass the test.  It was......an adventure to say the least!  Luckily, a very nice man at the TCD (DMV in our world) told us about a school up the road where we could go and practice.  So, off we went to practice our scooting skills!
