Mom!

My mom came to visit John and I this past weekend and we had the best time!

Friday night we stayed in and just spent the time catching up.  Saturday, we ventured out to St George's for the day, a little shopping, a little lunch and then went to Steve's birthday party at Shelly Bay.  I must say, Shelly Bay was beautiful - you can see all the way to Dockyard from there and the breeze was amazing!

Saturday night, we headed to Rustico for dinner.  Note to self - when you ask for a martini, they don't mess around!!!!

Sunday morning we went right to work - rearranging the furniture in the guest bedrooms.  Mom was a trooper unloading the bookcase, emptying drawers - all things no one but mom would want to do on vacation!  I must say, the bedrooms look much better and are much more convenient for our guests, as well as John and I.

After working the morning away, we headed to lunch at Coconuts before heading to the garden store.

Sunday night we stayed in again and had the Jordan's over for dinner.  It's always good seeing them and I know mom enjoyed meeting Marta and the boys.

Monday we went off to spend the day at the spa and celebrate mom's birthday (just slightly belated).  Willow Stream is a beautiful spa at the Southampton Princess - you can spend the whole day, have lunch, a glass of wine and really just relax.  And we did just that!

After a little shopping in Hamilton and lunch at the House of India, it was back to the airport.  It was a very quick visit, but loaded with fun and a little work ;-)
