This week was very busy, lots of work events for John, volleyball on Wednesday, a lovely dinner at the Lighthouse and a fun weekend with new friends.
Friday night, Steve & Emma and Katie & Brad came for dinner. They are all from the UK and have moved to Bermuda within the last year - it's so fun meeting people from different places! We had a great night chatting and just getting to know them better. They are all so nice - we're lucky to have made such great friends!

Saturday, we headed out on the Ana Luna for an afternoon sail with our neighbors, Joy, David & Jackson and Lisa & Mike. Fully equipped with enough swizzles for all, a fun and knowledgeable captain, a beautiful boat (a catamaran with a huge colorful sail) and fun friends, it couldn't have been a more perfect day! We sailed out to the Island of Joy, had a swim, a bit of lunch and then sailed back. We continued on into the evening with a bbq back at the Bluff's. I love that we have such great neighbors (and colleagues for John!) that we can have loads of good times with - now and in the future!

| And this I couldn't resist - the bridge in the background is the bridge to the airport....we could swim to get our visitors! |
We are so lucky to be living on this beautiful island and meeting all sorts of new friends! John said it was his perfect Bermuda weekend - can't really beat that!
