Old 97's

Months ago, Jenny bought tickets for us to go and see the Old 97's play at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC. The Bowery Ballroom is a music venue in New York that only holds 500 people!  I can't really believe that I've been here all these years and this was my first time there.  I loved it - it's small and intimate and perfect for watching a band.  

The Old 97's are a band that I don't know very well.   Jenny has put 4 or 5 of their songs on mixed tapes or cd's for me over the years, but I never heard any more than that.  Turns out, they are great fun!  We had a really good time and were out until midnight - on a Wednesday!

Unfortunately, Jared couldn't join us because he had other obligations, but Jenny managed to convince our friend Mark to join us so the ticket wouldn't go to waste!
