Friends and Family

Last weekend, John and I spent a lot of time with our friends and family.  Friday, I changed our dishes to Christmas - yes, I have a whole set of Christmas dishes stored in our 550 square feet....yes, I am insane!  After that manual labor, Brooke came over and spent the evening with John, myself and take out from the local Chinese restaurant.  The company was fabulous - the rest......well.....

Saturday, we finished decorating the apartment for Christmas.  I am always amazed at how much stuff we have!  Thanks to Kit and her introducing me to Partylite at the young age of 22, we have enough Christmas decorations (and by that I mean candles) for an entire house!

Saturday evening, we met my parents for dinner and a trip to the Prudential Center to watch Andrea Bocelli in concert.  He really does have the most amazing voice - listening to him is magical!  I think my favorite part was when he brought the kids out on stage to sing Santa Claus is Coming to Town!!

Sunday was spent experimenting with homemade treats.  I'm trying to com up with some edible Christmas gifts, but haven't come up with anything great yet.  Work in progress!!
Later that evening, Meredith and Dave came over for dinner and to share in the pain of watching the Chargers.  Although the game was terrible, we had a great time catching up!
