Mer's Visit

In between the trip to NJ for the baby shower and another trip for Thanksgiving, Meredith came down to visit.  It was so nice being together - we didn't do a whole lot, in fact when her husband asked what we did and Mer said we only left the house one day to go to the grocery store, that will give you a real idea, but it was so great relaxing, chatting and just spending the time together.

Some of you may know this, but Meredith really wants to open a bakery one day.  She sure did get in some practice over the weekend - she was a little baker.  And with me being pregnant and having a sweet tooth, well.....it was a bad (or good depending on your perspective) combo!  The end result was simply delicious and probably 5 pounds!!!!!

We didn't have a completely unproductive weekend.  The crib and dresser showed up, so we spent some timing assembling that too.  And we had Joy, David and Jackson over for dinner, so you can say we hosted a dinner party as well.

Putting together the crib, the easiest ever to assemble - it was only 5 pieces!

And the dresser came assembled,  We just needed to put on the feet and the changer top - 6 screws and done.  Oh, and there is the belly again for everyone wanting to see it
