Mom and Dad Visit

A few weeks back, my dad and then mom came to visit.  Dad happen to get here right before a storm, so we spent the first day at the movies and the rest soaking up the rays at the pool and beach.  The evening were filled with politics and baseball, a perfect few days for dad!

When mom came, we shopped and moved furniture around to get ready for our little baby boy to arrive.  She was a tremendous help and we definitely worked her to the bone.  Luckily, we had scheduled a pedicure at the Reefs (it has the most beautiful view of the water), so we were able to relax a bit on Sunday afternoon.  Now we're all set for when our container ship arrives with all the baby gear.  Thanks mom!

Our first baby furniture purchase....a bookcase for the little one.  We have a few books that Katie, Jen and Jenny have given us (thank you!) and a picture frame from mom and dad.  I'm sure it will be filled up soon.

We moved the bookcase and desk from the guest room (baby's room) into ours.  Luckily we have plenty of room, so now our bedroom is bedroom/office.   

This desk looks so little with the high ceilings!  We need to hang a picture or something.... 

And then there is the bar.  We could probably turn this into a playroom, but what fun would that be?!  We just shifted things around so we can bring the gray chair in here come christmastime.   

And then there is the entryway bench - Merry Christmas in October!  Thanks mom and dad.  It's so nice not to have shoes lined up by the door anymore!
