This weekend we celebrated our friends Katie and Brad who are leaving the island. It's sad to see them go, but luckily they are going to Central London, so John and I will see them on our trips overseas.
Thursday night the four of us had dinner at Tom Moore's Tavern. It's a restaurant on the other side of the island from where we live that none of us had been to before. To our pleasant surprise, it was wonderful! We had a great time enjoying each others company as well as a lovely meal.
Saturday was a boat cruise with 20 of their closest friends. The weather was a little iffy, but we went out anyway and didn't stop most of them from getting in the water. It was a little too cold for my blood - the surface temperature is 82 degrees - I think we are spoiled!

Sunday, the girls went to the spa for a lovely relaxing morning. It was a great way to send Katie and Brad back to London. We will miss them terribly!
